Job summary

Rain Bird Corporation seeks a Production Machine Operator I (Automatic Production Line) to run and monitor automated equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent output. You will perform in-process quality inspections, record counts, and respond to minor stops while maintaining a clean 5S workspace.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and the ability to read work instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Proven skills to start up and run automated assembly machines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automatic production line equipment according to work instructions.
• Load and unload parts while maintaining production flow.
• Perform in-process quality inspections (visual and basic measurement checks).
• Record production counts, scrap, downtime, and abnormalities.
• Respond to minor machine stops such as clearing jams or resetting equipment within training scope.
• Escalate safety, quality, or machine issues to support teams when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
