Job summary

Rain Bird seeks a Production Supervisor to foster a performance-driven, continuous-improvement culture in a high-speed automated assembly setting. You will apply lean tools and structured problem-solving to strengthen execution, while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires overseeing shift teams, hiring and developing staff, and promoting cross-functional communication across departments in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required.
• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises manufacturing activities in a high-speed automated assembly environment.
• Accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance of the shift.
• Lead hiring, training, cross-training, and performance management of direct employees.
• Supervise, develop, and coach production leaders to meet objectives.
• Builds a team-focused culture integrating employees, temps, inventory and equipment.
• Ensure staff are trained and supported on equipment and cells.
