Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Denton, TX, seeks an operator to run automated production machinery in the masonry & hardscapes plant. You will read specs to adjust machines, load materials, and keep areas clean. Routine maintenance and startup duties are part of daily responsibilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends. A $1,500 new hire bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Self-starter and capable of working independently.
• Ability to perform basic math and manage different units.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in tasks.
• Experience operating a front-end loader.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Fill material bins to meet daily production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Startup machinery for daily production.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as needed.
