Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an operator to run automated production machinery in our masonry and hardscapes plant. You will read specs, adjust machinery, fill bins, perform routine maintenance, and help meet daily production goals.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior trades experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to understand written and diagrammed instructions.
• Maintain accuracy in work assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a front-end loader.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Fill material bins to meet daily production schedules.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Start up machinery for daily production.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned as needed.
