Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking an Automated Logistical Specialist to support supply chain operations, maintain equipment records, and supervise storage and distribution activities. This role emphasizes accuracy in stock records and efficient warehouse processes.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with opportunities to learn material handling, recordkeeping, and logistics systems within a military framework.

Qualifications

• Stock control and accounting procedures.
• Procedures for shipping, receiving, storing and issuing stock.
• Movement, storage and maintenance of ammunition.
• Procedures for handling medical and food supplies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain records (stock lists, inventory, material control).
• Maintain stock locator system and document control procedures.
• Process requests and turn‑in documents; assist with load-list and shop-stock duties.
