Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Automated Logistical Specialist to oversee storage, stock records, and distribution within the supply chain. You will learn and apply warehouse management and material handling while earning a paycheck and pursuing tuition assistance.

You will undergo Basic Training (10 weeks) and Advanced Individual Training (12 weeks), gaining practical skills in stock control, documentation, and handling inventory in a dynamic military environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in the Army National Guard is required.
• High school diploma or GED; be a junior in high school or above.
• Ages 17–35; must pass a physical exam and meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids.
• Maintain stock locator system and document control procedures.
• Operate material-handling equipment to move stock and equipment.
