Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking an Automated Logistical Specialist to manage stock records, perform warehouse duties, and support supply chain operations.

You will learn to establish inventory records, operate material-handling equipment, and process requests while earning a regular paycheck and pursuing tuition assistance. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT).

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain records (stock lists, inventory, material control).
• Maintain stock locator system and document control procedures.
• Process requests and turn-in documents.
• Perform load-list and shop-stock duties in manual/automated systems.
• Operate material-handling equipment.
