DC Army National Guard is seeking an Automated Logistical Specialist to support supply chain management, inventory control, and documentation. You will learn to manage stock records, run locator systems, and handle material through various storage and handling processes.

Your training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and tuition assistance potential.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain records (stock lists, inventory, material control)
• Maintain stock locator system and administer document control procedures
• Process requests and turn-in documents
• Perform prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties in manual and automated supply applications
• Operate material-handling equipment
