Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in Lockeford, CA seeks an Automated Equipment Operator to maximize output of concrete pipes and box culverts while ensuring top quality and safety. You will operate the BFS Jumbo machine, monitor cycles, set parameters, and perform preventive maintenance under supervision.

The role emphasizes strong teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot alarms on a fully automated system.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating fully automated or semi-automated machinery in a fast-paced environment with some fabrication experience.
• Experience working with a CMMS software.
• Basic user level knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP.
• Familiar with PLC Control equipment and PLC Languages.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Skilled at troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated teamwork skills.
• General Electronics skills

Responsibilities

• Operate the BFS Jumbo machine to produce concrete pipes and box culverts.
• Monitor production cycles in real time via cameras and controls.
• Set machine parameters and production speed using the control PC.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine.
• Ensure proper locking out/tagging out procedures before setup.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Inspect set height and moisture, verify concrete mix quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address alarms with technician support.
