Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a self-motivated Full-Time Automated Chemistry Lab Technician to support analysis of biological specimens and to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated chemistry instrumentation.

Responsibilities include calibration, QC review, document preparations for compliance, reagent management, and routine start-of-day operations. You will ensure PHI safeguards and accurate recordkeeping across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required.
• Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) are required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment with quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load specimens using automated chemistry instrumentation.
• Assist with instrument calibration, QC review, and initial analytical review.
• Document preparations to fulfill compliance requirements.
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
• Perform routine operations including start-of-day equipment initiation and verification of calibrations and controls.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Review test results for release and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain custody and storage records for specimens.
