Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
• Experience: NA
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
• Certification/Licensure: ALAT preferred.
• Other: Strong organizational skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Animal Care duties such as changing liners and sanitizing animal room walls and floors.
• Prioritize sanitization of cages, racks, feeders, bottles and sippers according to SOPs using automated cage wash machines.
• Clean and maintain a clean cage wash area.
• Record all required tasks on relevant logbook records accurately and completely.
• Report the need for equipment repair to the supervisor.
