SAIC is actively seeking an Autodesk Technical Support Specialistto support RITS. This is a fully remote role. This role focuses on providing technical support for AutoDesk applications within the USACE IT environment. The technician will be involved in packaging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting AutoDesk applications. They will also liaise with software vendors and work closely with the Software Packaging Team. A significant part of the role involves supporting the integration of AutoDesk Vault and Revit. The technician will also be responsible for system administration, monitoring, and performance optimization. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
*This position requires experience with either Revit, Vault, or AutoCAD*
Key Responsibilities Breakdown:
- Technical Support: Hands-on and remote support for AutoDesk applications.
- Packaging and Deployment: Packaging AutoDesk applications for deployment, monitoring the packaging process.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving system and end-user issues, escalating when necessary.
- Vendor Liaison: Interfacing with software vendors.
- Testing and Certification: Testing and certifying new versions of AutoDesk software.
- Documentation: Writing documentation and Software Release Notices.
- End-User Support: Providing excellent customer service and follow-through.
- Network/Infrastructure: Identifying and resolving network and infrastructure issues.
- Teamwork: Maintaining a healthy relationship with team members and management.
- Standards and Policies: Creating/maintaining documentation to support standards, policies, and processes.
- Software Packaging Team Support: Providing packaging requirements.
- Vault and Revit Support: Supporting Vault and Revit integration, implementation, server management, and security/access control.
- SQL Scripting: Developing SQL scripts in Documentum.
- Document Processor Support: Providing support for document processors.
- Upgrades and Migrations: Supporting application/hardware upgrades and architecture/hardware migrations.
- Customization Support: Supporting internally developed and customized add-ons.
- Server Administration: Administration and configuration for servers, server products, data sources, and utilities.
- Operating System Support: Providing operating system support related to application performance.
- Performance Management: Managing, monitoring, and taking proactive actions to maintain system performance and application availability.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining diagrams, server inventory records, and Change Requests (CRs).
- Testing and Implementation: Planning and participating in testing and implementation of future AutoDesk releases.
Qualifications
*This position requires experience with either Revit, Vault, or AutoCAD*
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills:
- Communication Skills: Ability to interface with clients, gather requirements, and facilitate meetings. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- AutoDesk Vault and Revit experience (integration, implementation, server management, security/access control).
- SQL Scripting (Documentum).
Required Clearance:
- Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; Secret Security Clearance is required to maintain employment.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
