Job summary

Clean Harbors in Santa Ana, CA is hiring entry-level Facility Technicians to perform labor, waste handling, and facility support in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will work with hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams while following safety and environmental procedures.

Expect multiple shifts (4:00 AM–12:30 PM, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM) with overtime possible and a starting hourly wage of $22.00/HR plus experience-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable wearing required PPE (respirator).
• Perform physical labor up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk/bend for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willing to work any assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Handle, sort, move, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
• Perform waste container handling, staging, labeling, and inventory.
• Load and unload materials and containers per procedures.
• Inspect containers and work areas for safety compliance.
• Operate equipment and tools as trained.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Assist with facility operations and general labor tasks.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Follow OSHA/DOT/EPA safety requirements and use PPE.
