Job summary

Clean Harbors in Santa Ana, CA is hiring for entry-level Facility Technicians to perform labor, material handling, waste processing and facility support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The role involves working with hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, with safety and environmental procedures, and offers shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Hourly wage $22.00/hr plus experience-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Handle, sort, move, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
• Perform waste container handling, staging, labeling, and inventory activities.
• Load and unload materials and containers in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspect containers and work areas to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Operate equipment and tools as trained and authorized.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Assist with facility operations and general labor activities as assigned.
• Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and site-specific safety requirements.
