Job summary

Safety Kleen in Richmond, CA is seeking Autoclave Technicians to join our medical processing team. You will operate an autoclave to process medical waste, load and unload route trucks, and prepare loads for shipment while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

We offer competitive pay starting at $25/hour with an increase to $27/hour at 6 months, comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, 401K with company matching, generous PTO and tuition reimbursement. OT and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift skills are required.
• Medical waste or sterilizing experience is a plus but not required.
• Must shave down to a mustache for clean shave policy.
• Experience with Excel, Word, etc.
• 1+ years of related labor and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operate an autoclave to process medical waste.
• Load and unload route trucks.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.

Safety Kleen, located in Richmond, CA is seeking to add a team of Autoclave Technicians. The Autoclave Technicians will be responsible for processing medical waste in the medical processing side of the facility. This includes using an autoclave.

Pay:

$25/HR to start with an increase to $27 at 6 months.

Requirements:

Hepatitis B vaccine- can complete after hire. $750 bonus after completion is available.

Shift:

Need open availability to work either days or nights. 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm. Monday-Friday. OT and weekends as needed.
