Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Mentor, Ohio, is hiring an Autoclave Utility Operator for the 10pm–6am third shift. This on-site, full-time role reports to the 650 Manager/Supervisor and requires maintaining quality, productivity, and safety in etch and autoclave operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong attendance, and the ability to multitask with attention to detail while working independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability.
• Strong sense of urgency with the ability to work independently.
• Capable of balancing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support SOP and EP compliance for etch and autoclave solution controls (solution testing).
• Adjust tank levels/concentration when needed and retest solutions
• Review previous shift's testing records for compliance, maintain records, and verify electronically entered data.
• Coordinate with production and perform tank clean outs as needed.
• Monitor waste water levels and work with maintenance to resolve issues.
• Maintain etch tank inventories of raw materials.
• Assist in training new operators on testing procedures.
