Job summary

SMP/Eastlake in Wickliffe, Ohio, seeks a Chemline Operator for the Autoclave on 3rd shift with an off-work week schedule. You will load, monitor, and cycle autoclaves, ensure correct orientation, and verify paperwork and traceability.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms per SOP, maintaining PPE, coordinating with Washout, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. This role demands attention to detail and following detailed procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, load and scan all batches.
• Load parts in autoclaves baskets using specific orientation.
• Load and unload baskets in autoclaves using crane and torque wrench.
• Start, drain and stop autoclave vessels.
• React per SOP to alarm conditions and contact necessary personnel.
• Place autoclave baskets in holding tank for Washout personnel.
• Assist Washout with timely turnaround.
• Verification of parts to paperwork.
• Must wear required PPE at all times.
• Autoclave traceability maintained through paperwork verification.
• Record information in Lot Control.
• Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervision.
