Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks an Autoclave Utility Operator to support etch and autoclave processes with emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety. The role involves adjusting chemical concentrations, reviewing testing records, and coordinating with production for tank cleanouts.

The incumbent will assist in training new operators, maintain inventory, and work with maintenance/IT to resolve issues, while contributing to a safer, cleaner etch area.

Qualifications

• +1 year experience in a manufacturing environment; autoclave experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SOP and EP compliance for etch and autoclave solution controls (solution testing).
• Adjust tank levels/concentration and retest solutions.
• Review prior shift testing records for compliance and verify entries.
• Coordinate with production and perform tank clean outs as needed.
• Arrange and handle caustic pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor waste water levels and work with maintenance to resolve issues.
• Maintain etch tank inventories of raw materials.
• Assist in training new operators on testing procedures.
• Continuously improve the etch area for safety, cleanliness and organization.
