Job summary

i-80 Gold Corp is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the Lone Tree Autoclave facility in Nevada. You will lead safety-driven operations, drive commissioning and ramp-up, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize gold recovery and throughput.

The role requires 15+ years in mining operations, exposure to POX and refractory feeds, and a track record of building strong teams on site. This salaried exempt position emphasizes leadership, safety, and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive operations experience in mining, with POX or similar facilities.
• Experience leading mine-site teams and plant/start-up environments.
• Experience with refractory gold ore treatment.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA and relocate to Nevada.
• On-call availability and flexible schedule for a salaried role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the Lone Tree Autoclave facility.
• Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with MSHA and environmental permits.
• Direct operations, maintenance, and laboratory teams; coordinate with technical services.
• Manage commissioning, start-up, ramp-up, and performance optimization activities.
• Ensure provision of training and workforce development for operators and maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on process improvements and cost performance.
