Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter for a shop-drawing role on Long Island, NY. You will produce precise shop drawings, anchor details, and fabrication tickets, joining two full-time drafters and a flex resource to support projects.

The position requires interpreting drawings, RFIs and specs, with field verification and occasional site visits. Attention to detail and reliable follow-up are essential for fabrication-ready output.

Formación

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and RFIs.
• Experience in architectural stone, construction, fabrication or related drafting environment.
• Comfort with geometry, dimensions, scale and arithmetic.
• Strong attention to detail; drawings go straight to fabrication.
• Habit of following up on outstanding items.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Produce shop drawings in AutoCAD that are clear, complete, and dimensionally accurate.
• Create anchor details, fabrication and assembly drawings, and fabrication tickets.
• Convert field dimensions (hand sketches, photos, notes) into shop-ready drawings.
• Verify dimensions and interfaces, review drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Identify constructability conflicts and missing information before fabrication.
• Coordinate with project managers, fabrication personnel and field teams.
• Maintain drawing logs, revision histories and current files.
• Occasional jobsite visits to assist with field dimensions and verification.
