Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced CAD Drafting professional to create and edit 2D/3D designs for manufacturing, taking customer preferences into account. You will draft detailed shop drawings and maintain project drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.

The role requires AutoCAD experience, strong drafting knowledge, and ability to read architectural drawings. Work is on-site with standard hours and potential outside times as needed.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Must be able to read and comprehend architectural drawings.
• Must be able to measure and recreate information taken from field measurements.

Responsibilities

• Use 2D and/or 3D computer assisted design/drafting software to develop designs of new and existing product.
• Draft fully detailed multi-view shop drawings from sketches and order information provided by customers.
• Maintain and follow Drafting and Engineering Standards.
• Maintain an organized file system for production drawings.
• Communicate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing regarding new and revised prints.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain revisions of project drawings.
• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
