Quonset in the Northeast is seeking a skilled Draftsman / Detailer to produce detailed shop drawings and tickets used by craftsmen to cut stone. The role demands precision, CAD proficiency, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret project requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring drawings meet specifications, updating records, checking dimensions and materials, and maintaining knowledge of fabrication processes.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in drafting or engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Understanding of building codes and compliance.
• Experience with BOM and fabrication processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and tickets using CAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers.
• Ensure drawings meet specifications and standards.
• Review and revise drawings for changes.
• Maintain and update existing drawings and records.
