Job summary

Mentor Technical Group Corporation in Puerto Rico is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to update existing facility drawings from redlines and field inspections, create new drawings from sketches, and maintain the drawing database across architectural, piping, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, P&IDs and control schematics.

You will ensure drawings are properly approved per SOPs, navigate layers to provide clients with requested drawings and PDFs, and offer layout options for office spaces and production

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret multidisciplinary technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Update existing facility drawings based on redlined drawings and field inspections.
• Create new drawings from sketches.
• Maintain the drawing database by updating revision levels, approval dates, affected drawings lists, etc.
• Navigate drawing layers to provide customers with requested drawings and PDFs.
• Provide multiple layout scenarios for office spaces and production areas to support expansions and relocations.
• Drawing content will include architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, P&IDs, Lockout/Tagout, and control schematics.
• Ensure proper approval of drawings according to SOPs to maintain documentation compliance.
