Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks a CAD Drafter to update facility drawings, create new drawings from sketches, and maintain drawing databases. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure drawings comply with SOPs.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong attention to detail are essential for producing accurate architectural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and P&ID drawings for office spaces and production areas.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret multidisciplinary technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Update existing facility drawings from redlined drawings and field inspections.
• Create new drawings from sketches.
• Maintain drawing database by updating revisions, approvals, and affected drawings lists.
• Navigate drawing layers to provide requested drawings and PDFs.
• Provide layout scenarios for offices and production areas to support expansions and relocations.
• Drawings include architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, P&IDs, Lockout/Tagout, and control schematics.
• Ensure proper approval of drawings per SOPs to maintain documentation compliance.
