Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a CAD Drafter to update facility drawings, create new drawings from sketches, and manage drawing revisions for architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and related systems. You will provide drawings and PDFs across multiple layers and ensure compliance with SOPs.

Candidates should have strong AutoCAD skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret multidisciplinary technical drawings to support expansions and relocations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Update existing facility drawings based on redlined drawings and field inspections.
• Create new drawings from sketches.
• Maintain the quality of the drawing database by updating revision levels, approval dates, affected drawings lists, etc.
• Navigate drawing layers to provide customers with requested drawings and PDFs.
• Provide multiple layout scenarios for office spaces and production areas to support expansions and relocations.
• Drawing content will include architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, P&IDs, Lockout/Tagout, and control schematics.
• Ensure proper approval of drawings according to SOPs to maintain documentation compliance.
