Job summary

Sirius Staffing is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter to support the ECPM team within Electric Delivery (ED). The position is fully on-site in Tampa, focusing on drafting, documentation, and standards support for major capital projects across Transmission, Substation, and Distribution.

You will produce detailed drawings, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and maintain organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or civil engineering
• Two (2) or more years of AutoCAD drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and related drafting tools
• Experience with GIS technologies and software
• Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and schematics for construction and engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Update, revise, and maintain organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support drafting needs for ECPM capital projects, including ad hoc assignments.
• Oversee drafting standards and ensure consistency across internal and contractor-generated drawings.
• Assist with contractor-led drafting activities.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on drawings and documentation.
• Manage document integration and coordinate information flow between departments.

Location: Tampa, FL ( fully on-site )

Sirius Staffing is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter to support the Engineering, Construction, and Project Management (ECPM) team within Electric Delivery (ED). This role provides drafting, documentation, and standards support for major capital projects across Transmission, Substation, and Distribution.

Pay: $40/hr

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
