The role focuses on 2D/3D CAD design, drafting of pumps, tanks, piping, and assemblies, using Autodesk tools to deliver precise drawings and complete documentation in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years AutoCAD experience with a focus on 3D mechanical design.

Responsabilités

We are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical AutoCAD Designer and Drafter who possesses robust 3D mechanical design expertise to assist with our ongoing engineering and drafting initiatives. While this role is slated for a 2-3 month duration to start, there is a possibility for it to evolve into a long-term, permanent position depending on your performance and our organizational requirements.

Primary Duties

• Generate and adjust precise 2D and 3D mechanical designs and AutoCAD illustrations.
• Draft and engineer various systems, including pumps, tanks, mechanical assemblies, and piping configurations.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, fabrication blueprints, layouts, and schematics.
• Leverage Autodesk tools and AutoCAD to ensure all designs are both highly accurate and optimized for efficiency.
• Work closely with our production, project management, and engineering departments to foster project success and ensure design precision.
• Verify that all technical drawings meet project requirements, maintain high quality, and are fully complete.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional AutoCAD experience, specifically with a focus on 3D mechanical design.
• Background in the design of industrial components, such as tanks, pumps, piping, or similar mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Autodesk software applications.
• High level of precision and the ability to accurately interpret complex engineering requirements and technical specifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Self-directed and organized, with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously within a rapid work environment.
• This position is based entirely within an office setting.
• The scope of work excludes any responsibilities related to installation, production, warehouse tasks, or general labor.
• The focus remains strictly on CAD design, drafting, and providing engineering support.
• The position begins as a 2-3 month contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent staff role.
