Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking an AutoCAD Designer for Wisconsin to provide AutoCAD and 3D modeling support across engineering, manufacturing, and facility improvement projects.

You will develop technical drawings, equipment layouts, and process diagrams, collaborating with engineering and operations teams on capital projects and plant upgrades. Travel up to 20% to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in drafting or engineering.
• 4+ years in industrial drafting or engineering support roles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D and detailed industrial drawings.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BIM platforms, and 3D modeling software.
• Experience in manufacturing facilities or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D/3D drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication details, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Maintain drawing databases, technical documentation, and engineering standards for accuracy and consistency.
• Support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for facility and process improvements.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and engineering records per company standards.
• Support bid package development, technical specifications, and contractor documentation.
• Travel up to 10-20% to support facilities and project sites.

CAD Engineering Designer (AutoCAD & 3D Modeling)

Position Summary

• Provide AutoCAD and 3D modeling support for engineering, manufacturing, and facility improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, and design documentation.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to support capital projects, plant upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D/3D drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication details, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

• Maintain drawing databases, technical documentation, and engineering standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.Support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design efforts for facility, equipment, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and engineering records in accordance with company standards.
• Support bid package development, technical specifications, and contractor documentation.
• Travel up to 10-20% as needed to support manufacturing facilities, project sites, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, or a related field.4+ years of experience in industrial drafting, manufacturing design, or engineering support roles.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience creating detailed industrial, mechanical, or facility drawings.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BIM platforms, and 3D modeling software.
• Background supporting manufacturing, food & beverage, consumer products, packaging, or other industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, process equipment, fabrication design, and capital project execution.
