Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships seeks a skilled auto appraiser in Massachusetts to determine repair needs, costs, and insurer approvals. You will collaborate with customers and insurance personnel, order parts, schedule visits, and track progress throughout repairs.

Qualified candidates hold MA licensure, a valid driver's license, strong interpersonal and service skills, and at least one year of related experience; basic computer skills required. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (internal requirements)
• Licensed Massachusetts auto appraiser
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer and insurer interactions
• Basic computer skills for estimating and record-keeping
• Solid service skills to support customers through repairs
• Minimum of one year of experience in auto appraisal or related role

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and insurance personnel to determine damage repairs and estimated costs
• Order, track and check parts. Schedule customers appointments
• Communicate progress of repairs with customers as well as insurance companies
• Write up all estimates and supplements and submit them to an insurance company for approval
• Perform tasks as assigned by management
