Job summary

Quirk Auto Body in Quincy, MA is hiring a Damage Auto Body Appraiser for a full-time role. You will assess vehicle damage, prepare estimates, work with customers and insurance companies, and coordinate parts and scheduling to keep repairs on track.

The ideal candidate has MA licensing, at least one year of appraiser experience, and strong communication skills to liaise with customers and insurers.

Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts Auto Appraiser license.
• One year minimum experience in auto body appraisal.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and insurers to determine damage repairs and estimated costs.
• Write estimates and supplements for insurance approval.

Position Overview

Quirk is looking for an experienced Damage Auto Body Appraiser to join our world-class shop! Quirk has an extremely busy dealership-based repair shop with plenty of opportunities to grow.

Key Required Proficiencies

• Interact with Customers and Insurance personnel to determine damage repairs and estimated costs
• Order, track and check parts. Schedule customers appointments
• Communicate progress of repairs with Customers as well as Insurance companies
• Write up all estimates and supplements and submit them to an insurance company for approval
• Perform tasks as assigned by Management
