Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to confront and resolve difficult customer service situations.
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanics.
• Two years of experience in an automotive dealership.
• ASE certification or successful completion of pre-employment test.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims and ensure timely submission.
• Review every warranty repair order for accuracy and legibility.
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies for maximizing claim processing.
• Flag technicians for hours earned on service performed.
• Provide weekly claim status reports to the service manager.
• Assist with audits, special projects and reports as requested.
• Attend warranty training courses as needed.
