Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, operating Break Time stores and a Big O Tires franchise, seeks a Sales Consultant to deliver accurate, friendly customer service and promote tire and maintenance services.

You will greet customers, explain products, process sales, and assist with store operations while upholding company policies and safety standards. Previous retail or automotive experience is helpful; strong communication and dependability are valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements with customers to promote needed services.
• Explain benefits of products and services and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements.
