Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers, diagnosing issues with mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.

The role includes walk-in interviews, competitive pay of 18.00–22.00 per hour, and a benefits package with medical, 401(k), tuition assistance and tire discounts. You’ll learn brakes, alignments, and continuous industry updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and brake repairs.
• Conduct fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments and tire installation.
• Provide clear communication and guest vehicle feedback, mentoring junior technicians.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and report safety issues.
