Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States offers a hands-on trainee opportunity that runs a 30-day trial to qualify for an 18-month Technician Development Program. You will work with an experienced technician to learn auto body repair basics and safety practices.

This entry-level role provides real training, a supportive environment, and growth potential within a long-standing collision repair leader. Compensation starts at $15–$18 per hour with benefits; training agreements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade/Vocational training preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
