Job summary

Spitzer Autoworld seeks a skilled Technician/Mechanic in Cleveland to identify needed vehicle service and perform repairs and maintenance. You will follow dealership guidelines and ensure quality workmanship while delivering excellent customer service.

The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and full-time benefits with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement within a large automotive group.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.
• Submit to MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Proven ability to learn and succeed.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Examines customer vehicles and identifies necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Estimates cost of repairs.
• Performs repairs and maintenance and documents services performed.
• Follows dealership service guidelines and safety rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examines customer vehicles and identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Estimates cost of repairs
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance, request necessary parts and documents services performed
• Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines and safety rules and regulations
• Other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
