Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in West Point, VA to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles to CarMax safety standards. You'll work with a skilled team in a modern, climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

We invest in your growth with ongoing training and advanced tools. A valid driver's license and ASE certifications are preferred, and a hiring bonus up to $5,000 is offered for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Maintain ASE Certifications where required for the role.
