Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in West Point, Virginia to inspect and diagnose vehicles, repair and recondition engines, brakes, steering, and suspension to meet safety standards.

You will work in a modern, climate-controlled facility, collaborating with a skilled team and gaining hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles. ASE certifications and a valid driver's license are required to perform this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with engine repair, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ASE certifications as required by state/local law.
