Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models, work with a skilled team, and grow through ongoing training. A valid driver’s license and experience with engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC are required; ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
