Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an entry-level Auto Tech - General Service to join our team. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with a focus on light maintenance tasks and learning from experienced peers.

You will gain hands-on experience with oil changes, battery tests, tires and inspections while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Growth opportunities and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related work experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush and vehicle inspection.
• Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement.
• Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
• Comply with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

Required

• 6+ months of related work experience.

Compensation

USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
