Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a General Service Technician in the United States, Tennessee. The role focuses on basic automotive services, tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, inspections, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

You will help diagnose everyday vehicle needs, stock and maintain a clean shop, and advise customers on services while adhering to safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes and suspensions.
• Perform tire maintenance, oil changes, and battery checks.
• Install headlights, wipers blades and repair flat tires.
• Assist technicians and keep shop organized and safe.
• Follow safety, environmental and company policies.
