Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services including oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, tires, inspections, and other shop tasks while delivering an excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes safety and clean work areas.

You will also provide basic advice to customers on services, upsell recommended repairs, and support fellow technicians in a fast-paced tire and service department environment.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new techniques.
Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform basic automotive services: oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, tire repairs, inspections.
Learn diagnostic and repair procedures for brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical systems.
Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety/environmental rules.
Advise customers on services and repairs and assist with upselling when appropriate.
