Job summary
Auto Plus is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services including oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, tire repairs, and vehicle inspections while delivering an excellent customer experience. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area and may involve advising customers on services recommended for their vehicle.
Responsibilities include learning to diagnose basic automotive issues, assisting other technicians, and adhering to safety rules.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Passion for a career as an automotive technician.
- Eager to learn and capable of working in a fast-paced shop.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, tire repairs, and inspections.
- Learn and diagnose basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.
- Install and service tires, batteries, headlights and other small components.
- Repair flat tires and maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
- Provide advice to customers on automotive services and repairs when recommended or required.
