Job summary

Cavender Subaru of Midland Odessa in Midland, Texas, part of Cavender Auto Family, seeks a Mainline Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and test automotive systems while communicating with the Service Advisor and maintaining thorough repair records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician is required.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate maintenance/repair records.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
