The Cavender Auto Country-Ford is seeking an ASE Service Technician to join our growing team in a role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle systems with integrity and customer-service excellence.

As part of Cavender Auto Family, you will perform warranty work, utilize diagnostic tools, and ensure safety and quality during repairs, while contributing to a culture of respect and accountability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Manufacture ASE certifications required.
• Submit to background checks and pre-employment drug test.

Responsabilités

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Complete tasks timely and maintain accurate maintenance/repair records.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

Here Is What You Will Need

• Previous experience as a service technician required
• Strong automotive background
• Manufacture ASE certifications required
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
