Bob Loquercio Auto Group is seeking a Service Technician to join the expanding, high-volume Service Department in Hanover Township, IL. You will perform oil changes, routine maintenance, and basic diagnostics while ensuring quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive service or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems as assigned.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools as needed.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors.
• Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
