Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Mission Viejo seeks an entry-level General Service Technician to support oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance. You’ll perform inspections, keep the shop organized, and learn foundational skills under experienced technicians and store leaders.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role suitable for mechanically inclined individuals.
• Willing to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to work with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and documentation.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings per store guidelines.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable and under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, shop, showroom, and restrooms to be customer-ready.
• Transport customers and parts using company or customer vehicles as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE, report hazards or unsafe equipment.
