Job summary

Team Car Care West, LLC is hiring a General Service Technician in Carlsbad, CA. This entry-level role offers a structured training program to certify you across services while you service guests’ vehicles and support the shop’s daily operations.

You will engage with guests, maintain a clean service area, and follow safety procedures as you grow your automotive skills and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during operating hours.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Inspect and complete vehicle inspections and fluid checks.
• Perform lifting and manual tasks, including tires and wheels, safely.
