Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Assistant Manager to grow into key leadership roles within a fast-paced automotive service environment. This hands-on role oversees daily store operations, ensuring top customer service and efficient vehicle service experience.

You will supervise staff, maintain safety and organization, assist the Store Manager, and drive results through teamwork and consistent service excellence.

Qualifications

• High level of motivation with hands-on management skills.
• Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Automotive experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently creating results for customers, teammates and the company.
• Responsible for ensuring the customers are greeted courteously and receive a high level of customer service.
• Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehicles.
• Perform courtesies for every customer (cleaning the windshield, lubricating door hinges).
• Perform multi-point inspection.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Advise Service Consultant and/or VSI for additional mechanical service work.
• Inspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission.
• Inspect belts, hoses, and wiper blades.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Must be able to perform all duties described in the SOS book.
• Oversees and manages all store operations when the Store Manager is absent.
• Must be able to do inventory and complete stock orders.
• Must be able to open and close the store.
