Job summary

Kerner's Auto Service is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Service Office Assistant to greet customers, manage calls, schedule appointments, and support service staff. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and a five-star customer experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn the automotive side of the business. Full-time hours, with shop operating hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong typing/keyboard skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone delivering a friendly, professional experience.
• Answer calls and respond to texts and emails professionally.
• Schedule and confirm appointments with accurate customer/vehicle information.
• Build and maintain positive, long-term customer relationships.
• Support Service Advisors with intake, paperwork, notes, and follow-up communication.
• Assist with front office and technician workflow.
• Ensure customer questions and information are communicated to the right team member.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation, receipts, and vendor paperwork.
