Job summary

Team Car Care in Wilmette, IL is seeking a Crew Chief to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team. You’ll partner with the General Manager to guide the crew, ensure top-quality service, and drive sales while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You’ll lead by example, coach teammates, manage daily operations, handle inventory and cash, and participate in opening/closing duties. Candidates need 1–3 years in retail management and strong communication; automotive experience not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and motivate others.
• Guest-first mindset and professional conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew under the General Manager to ensure smooth operations and revenue growth.
• Coach and develop teammates through training programs and ongoing guidance.
• Maintain quality control, safety, and service standards in the store.
• Handle inventory, cash handling, and budget-related tasks with the DM.
• Open/close the store and lead daily team huddles and meetings.
